3D walkthrough
Hello I would be great to be able to have a 3D walkthrough of my Visio floor plan (though the import from CAD is terrible) like is available by that Visio company.
If I can use this for floor plan in my 3D sharepoint space that would be amazing too.
now if only there was a InfoPath Online/Power App, that would be perfect.

Be able to classify, label and protect Visio diagrams with Microsoft Information Protection sensitivity labels
Word, PowerPoint, Excel and several third party applications support MIP labels to flag the sensitivity and confidentiality of a document, apply protection and enforce display of content markings.
Visio diagrams include just as much sensitive information as these other document formats, and users should be able to label them in the same way with a consistent user experience. Visio already supports the older RMS protection capabilities, but labels would offer a much better and more complete user experience.18 votes -
pdf export checkout
VISIO + SHP: Would be great if the Export to PDF function would be available without checkout, as it is in all other Office applications.

Write SharePoint meta data directly from within Visio
There are lots of scenarios where you have to store your Visio file in a SharePoint library. If this library has columns that are obligatory, you are not able to save and checkin your document (this will throw a 3400 error message), but have to leave it checked out, close the file, wait until SharePoint also has reckognized that the file is closed and can then change meta data and check in only from within the SharePoint library. As for compliance relevant documents this is standard for many competitive tools and it works fine in Word and other Office applications,…

Allow closing file without having to save to SharePoint
When I open, with Visio 2016, a Visio file from SharePoint, it opens the file ready to edit. If I try to close the file or exit the program it does not respond. I get no dialog saying that I must save the file. (This happens even if I have not changed anything in the file.) If I save the file, it allows me to close the file. However, I do not like to litter SharePoint with additional "versions" without any changes.

Only download stencils from SharePoint if the drawing is using SharePoint stencils
We have noticed through our use of Visio desktop and SharePoint Online, that when we open a drawing in SharePoint, Visio attempts to download each stencil it uses from the same SharePoint location.
The issue is that these stencils are not held in SharePoint and are in fact on the local computer - the paths to which are recorded inside the drawing.
Yet Visio tries to download them, which adds 1 or 2 seconds wait, per stencil, to do so. Many of our drawings use 6 - 7 stencils, so this total wait time adds a noticeable delay.

Enhance Shape Reports to allow one-click integration with Microsoft Flow
Shape Reports can be made even easier to integrate with MS Flow if:
1. Option to not include the first title row
2. Format the list as Table1 (or better still include optional table name)
3. Option to run a specific Shape Report to a specified file path with one click.
With these enhancements, Microsoft Flow can listen for updates to the specified Excel file and action it, such as update a SharePoint list, send an email, request Approval, etc....7 votes -

At present it is not possible to edit visio diagrams online which have been published in to sharepoint unless you has previosuly created these diagrams using the online Visio (though office 365).
