Fix Picture Tools / Format Picture / Transparency so that it does not "blur" photos while it makes them transparent.
The "Format Picture" / "Transparency" tool unacceptably blurs the subject image as it makes it transparent. This is a flaw with an important functionality and needs to be fixed. Visio 2006 performed this task perfectly. I look forward to the fix; thanks.

I used Visio for chart-comparisons by overlaying various charts and having them transparent. No problem in Visio 2006, but the latest version breaks this (to me) very important functionality. Now looking for a better tool to replace Visio :(

Same problem here. I use the transparency feature with layers to overlay a number of things that are drawn to scale. The purpose is to check that various features line up as they should. The blurring defeats the transparency and makes the toll unusable for this purpose.
