The world is opening and MSFT Explorer is no longer the only option. Notice that on an OS other than MSFT, the web version is bad, slow and will not maintain the page format making it difficult to use. I am not planning on changing my computer to a windows base OS, but I am contemplating other available options to make the same documents. They work pretty good when I tried their demos, and they are also web base.

The embed iframe viewer doesn't provide a quick link to the actual visio online page. I personally use the embedded viewer in Confluence pages and I would like other contributors to quickly access the visio source to make changes.

I cannot find a normal looking (skinny) connector with an arrow that goes in both directions - I don't want the fat arrow. I feel like I must be missing something - surely there's a 2-direction arrow available that's just a line? Maybe because I am on a Mac?

It would be awesome to be able to import and automatically diagram your Azure Infrastructure. Similar to what Lucidcharts does with Amazon AWS.

Smart Draw has the full bank of BPMN symbols. Visio could do a better job of organizing the scattered selection available

I couldn't choose to get the Desktop version for work and the process mapping shapes are lacking. I need shapes for Value Stream Mapping, Fishbone diagrams, and other Lean Six Sigma mapping techniques. I could make a VSM in Excel but that would be infinitely more time consuming.

Want the ability to import shapes like you can in the desktop version of Visio. Or be faster about adding shapes that are requested (like AWS shapes). You added Azure shapes, but we also use AWS. draw.io has both AWS and Azure and I am forced to use that program due to I am using a Mac (no desktop Visio) and Visio Online doesn't have AWS shapes.

Ability to save shape palettes to your favourites so users can start were they left off. Without having to add the palettes every time.

The office 365 developer subscription, bundled up with Visual Studio Enterprise subscription (Office 365 Enterprise E3 Developer Trial), does not include a licence to Visio Online. Further to this, you are unable to add a paid subscription. You get the message 'You are not eligible to acquire this product.'

It would be great to see a higher selection of shapes built into Visio for network device and other appliances. Adding a more modern representation of network technologies would go a long way. The ability to show a Layer 2 and Layer 3 switch and the different infrastructure that the devices are being used in would be a bit better with more shapes.
