- As soon as you start entering a new idea, a list of similar ideas might show up, allowing you to either vote for an existing idea or create a new one.
- There is no restriction on votes but you can vote any idea only once. hence vote for ideas that you want to see in future releases of Visio
- You can add #hashtags to your idea description for tagging! it makes it easier to search for similar ideas.

Distribution curves
Much like in Visio2007, normal distribution curves, that are also adjustable into skewed curves, would be brilliant

Containers available on web version
Adding objects to containers is a common requirement for a good diagram. It does not appear to be supported in the current version of the web client.

Visio needs a feature for spell check its annoying that you do not have accessibility to spell check

Open from file explorer into Visio Online
I save diagrams to my OneDrive, my OneDrive is synced onto my pc. I don't have Visio client installed. I'd like to double click the files and get the file to open in Visio online ready for editing.
The best I can do now is right click > View Online. But this opens in the reader view and I then have to click 'Edit Diagram' and 'Edit in Browser'.

Please add Header and Footers to Visio Online
If its already there, i can't see it!!
We need to have standard headers and footers in our diagrams. This doesn't appear to be available in Visio Online.

It would help greatly to have a ruler and gridlines so we may place objects more accurately. The aligning lines apprar only sometimes and not always are accurate.

Shape search doesn't work anymore?
I've got Visio 2016 Standard and discovered yesterday that I'm no longer able to search for shapes on the internet. The post at https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/office/troubleshoot/visio/cannot-search-shapes-feature says the feature has been discontinued. Do you have a suggestion for what I should do instead?
The post's Microsoft'suggestion to search the Download Center for Visio didn't work since it brought up a link to buy the application but not any shapes. I found some shapes via Google search. That worked OK but I had to juggle a ton of stencil documents. figure the old search feature would have been much easier. I find Visio …
