Need to make online Visio fully functional & compatible with the desktop version
I would like to see the online version totally compatible with desktop versions as well as Mac versions. Being mobile would be so simple and not a cumbersome as Office 365 is today.

import shapes
Want the ability to import shapes like you can in the desktop version of Visio. Or be faster about adding shapes that are requested (like AWS shapes). You added Azure shapes, but we also use AWS. draw.io has both AWS and Azure and I am forced to use that program due to I am using a Mac (no desktop Visio) and Visio Online doesn't have AWS shapes.

Allow importing of other or custom stencils - Splunk, AWS, etc
Provide the ability to upload and/or store custom stencils sets, i.e., Splunk, AWS, or other customer stencils. Once imported, stencil set should be available to any new diagram for the user.

Visio Online Web Part
Like the Visio Services web part, please can we have the ability to have Visio Online as a web part such that it allows customisation and connectivity to other web parts.
(Very useful functionality that exists within Visio Services.)

Include option to upload own Visio Stencils to Visio Web
I can't upload my personal Visio Stencils to Visio Web, I'm a network engineer and use a lot of Cisco and other networking stencils to create my diagrams

Layers Visibility/Selection
It would be very useful to have the ability to show/hide specific layers on the diagram as in the Visio interface, or provide a way to control this via a Javascript Mashup.

Clickable Overlays in Visio Online App Part
It is not currently possible to have clickable image overlays in the Visio Online app part. This was functionality supported in legacy Visio Services and we desperately need it back!

Visio Online integration with Microsoft Flow.
SharePoint workflows used to integrate with Visio, allowing developers to create a Visio Diagram that was easily understood and easily implemented as a workflow. It would be cool if you could build out a Microsoft Flow in Visio.
25 votesThanks for the suggestion. This is under consideration.

Allow control of more UI features via the Visio Online API
It would be very useful if the Visio Online API gave us more control over which built-in UI components are visible to the user.
We're currently working on a project where we're wrapping the Visio Online viewer and then integrating some additional features and data provided by one of our apps.
In order to provide a more integrated user experience, we would like to be able to at least control the following features via a settings in the API:
Which controls are visible in the main toolbar (e.g: breadcrumb, Document Name, buttons, etc)
Whether the hyperlink pop-up window is shown…

Support Entity Relationship Diagrams
It would be great to see support for the creation of crow's-foot Entity Relationship Diagrams in Visio Online. It's possible to do a basic ERD without crows-foot relationship representations with the SDL > Divided Process, but it's not very easy and the lack of crows-foot notation is an issue.

Import an exported Microsoft Flow package to auto-generate a diagram
Very similarly to this post (https://visio.uservoice.com/forums/368199-visio-online/suggestions/32605921-visio-online-integration-with-microsoft-flow), except the reverse. Just like you can export a SharePoint workflow and import into Visio, be able to import the exported package of a Flow into Visio - so something equivalent.
