Instead of having several, single function shortcut buttons, for example Netflix, Amazon Video, ect you should instead have one singular button that can bring up a menu of apps that you have assigned to it. For example, on the remote I got I only ever use 2 of the shortcut buttons provided, the rest of the buttons only ever get used when I’m on YouTube or Netflix and I accidentally push them, which tends to get really annoying. Also maybe allow us to attach the sleep timer to it for quick and easy access.

This would allow me to organise all of my own visios' using meta data (leaving the visios in each of the specific customer folders). Then I would have virtual folder for high level architecture, component diagrams, network diagrams etc.. I would like further views to allow me to slice and dice by industry etc..

Touch functions of Visio 2016 are excellent, but i miss them working with a Surface Pen on Surface Pro.

I don't want to have to get my surface pro out just to make a diagram, an android app would be so much more useful.

While creating swimlane diagrams to explain new processes, we realized those visio files cannot be opened online :(

When I try to open a .vsdx from OneDrive for business on iOS I get an error saying that the file can’t be opened. “Something went wrong”...
I have the example file if you want to try to reproduce the error.

When using Outlook managed with Intune MAM, deeplinks will not work as they remove these types of URLs due to security concerns. As a result, we can't open Visio drawings attached in an Outlook email. The Outlook team from Microsoft support has confirmed that this is by design and that this type of hyoerlinks within the app might be disabled in the near future. Would like to see this feature enabled.

I can only find the viewer. Where's the Visio editor?

Viewing drawings is great but the ability to annotate drawings within the app on iPad would be beneficial so that working ideas can be explored and then transcribed once back on Visio desktop client.

Functionality should be exactly like the 'Draw' ribbon menu from all the other iPad Office apps.

It's nice that you are making a version for iOS, but it would be nice if Microsoft ever put their own platform first for a change, and show other developers that Windows is actually worth developing for.

The Ability to connect to Network shares/drives to view Visio drawings.

So far it looks like only local, One Drive and One Drive Pro are supported for opening Visio files. As a heavy user of other online services as well, adding support for Google Drive, DropBox, etc. would be really useful. I suspect you can integrate these from the application's own sharing APIs (i.e.: if Google Drive is installed, you get a hook for it).

It is really unclear from the release notes that the feedback button is the second one from the left when a Visio file is being viewed. Why on earth wouldn't this be available from the main page (documents list) as well? Frankly, some of the icons are hard to identify. The right-hand one is easy (full screen) but the second-from the right apparently zooms back to full page view, which is unclear (and should be disabled when already in that mode, right?).

When working on a documenten offer a "hand off" button to open or view the document on the PC on the same network and account. Same for documents opened on the desktop. Open on smart device.
This would be a seamless experinence.
